ABOUT OUR AGENCYI’ve had the privilege of being a State Farm agent for 24 years and with State Farm for over 31 years. Our close-knit team includes 6 employees who truly work together like family. We keep our breakroom cozy and welcoming, stocked with snacks, sodas, coffee, and a water dispenser that everyone enjoys. We even rotate bringing in treats each week - small ways we show appreciation for each other.
We also enjoy spending time together outside of the daily work. Team lunches are a regular tradition in our office, including birthday lunches to celebrate each staff member. We run incentive programs for both service and sales teams. For example, if the service team keeps voicemail counts below a set goal during the month, money is added to a team pot for a shared reward. Any State Farm incentives I receive are also shared with the team, because we believe success should be celebrated together.
I’m deeply connected to our community, serving as a trustee for Wethersfield Township and the Visitation Catholic School Foundation, and volunteering as a lector at my church. That community mindset carries over into how we support one another in the office.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Customer Service Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Mike Nichols - State Farm Agent, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.

- Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
- Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
- Process insurance claims and follow up with customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
Compensation $38,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
